Checkout extension (Plus)
On Shopify Plus, add a loyalty block directly into checkout so customers can see their points and redeem a reward without leaving the flow.
Shopify Plus only. Checkout UI extensions can only be placed in the checkout editor on Plus stores. On other plans, use the cart widget and customer account block instead. Gibbond places Plus stores on the Plus plan automatically.
What it shows
For enrolled customers: their points balance and tier, a hint when a tier discount applies, existing unused codes with Apply, and a reward selector with a Redeem & Apply button that creates and applies a discount code in one step. Unenrolled signed-in customers see a Join opt-in; guests see a sign-in teaser. Rewards that wouldn't beat the customer's tier discount are hidden.
How to add it
- Settings → Checkout
In the Shopify admin, open your checkout settings.
- Customize
Click Customize on your checkout profile to open the checkout editor.
- Add app block
From the Apps section, choose Loyalty Points Redemption.
- Position & configure
Drag it into the order summary or main content, set the options below, then Save.

All toggles default to shown. Strings localize automatically with the checkout language.
