Install & onboarding

Add Gibbond to your store and let the setup wizard configure earning, rewards and enrollment in about five minutes.

Install the app

Open the listing
Find Gibbond on the Shopify App Store and click Add app.
Approve permissions
Gibbond asks for access to orders, customers and discounts so it can award points and apply rewards.
Land in the dashboard
On first open, Gibbond detects your store currency and timezone and automatically excludes gift-card products from earning. New stores are taken straight into the setup wizard.

Already have data? If your store already has tiers, rewards or members (for example after a re-install), Gibbond skips the wizard and marks setup complete so nothing is overwritten.

The setup wizard

The wizard has six steps. Your progress is saved as you go, so you can leave and resume setup later from a banner on the dashboard, or Skip for now and configure everything manually.

Step 2 — choosing your reward model. Starter tiers and coupons are created for you and can be edited inline.

What each step configures

Step	What you set
1 · Welcome	An introduction — nothing to configure.
2 · Earning	Points per dollar, confirmation mode (immediate / delayed / fulfillment) and the holding period in days if you pick delayed.
3 · Reward model	Tiers, Coupons or Both. Editable starter tiers and/or coupons are created on save.
4 · Enrollment	Auto-enroll all customers vs. manual opt-in, plus the sign-up bonus points.
5 · Storefront	A link to your theme editor to turn on the loyalty widget (see Theme app blocks).
6 · Summary	Review your choices and finish — “Go to dashboard”.

Starter presets

When you pick a tier or coupon reward model, Gibbond pre-fills sensible starting values you can edit before saving:

Tiers — Bronze (0 pts, 1.0×), Silver (1,000 pts, 1.25×, 5% off), Gold (5,000 pts, 1.5×, 10% off, free shipping). All in STACK discount mode.
Coupons — $5 Off (500 pts), $10 Off (1,000 pts), 10% Off (800 pts), Free Shipping (300 pts). Each can be toggled off.

After onboarding

Fine-tune everything under Settings.
Turn on the storefront widget — see Theme app blocks.
On Shopify Plus, add the checkout extension.
Wire up notifications with Shopify Flow.
