Product tour · illustrative screens

From program rules to customer rewards

Walk through the building blocks of a Shopify loyalty program. The sample screens are illustrative and do not show a live store or merchant data.

01

Set up the program

Choose a clear earn rate, decide which products qualify, then create rewards customers can understand. Keep eligibility and redemption terms close to the customer-facing explanation.

02

Show how earning works

Members should see points after eligible purchases and understand when those points become available. For the sample rate above, a $40 eligible purchase earns 200 points before returns or products excluded from earning. Actual settings depend on the merchant’s program design.

03

Redeem through Shopify discounts

Customers exchange points for a configured reward. They should be able to understand the points cost and discount terms before redeeming. Check the reward type, any minimum-order condition and how it interacts with existing offers. Fixed and percentage reward codes apply across all items. Product exclusions govern earning and automatic tier discounts, not customer-redeemed codes.

04

Recognise VIP members and measure

Tiers use lifetime-points thresholds. Configured tier multipliers or automatic checkout discounts can change the customer experience; written perk descriptions are display copy. Review points issued, redeemed rewards and program costs against your own margins. On eligible plans, Shopify Flow can connect loyalty events to workflows; Gibbond does not send email itself.
